Hee hee. They're pilled up and they're *still* too slow to spell properly? Some people are just asking for brain damage.

I've scrolled by this several times during this slow work day, but I only just noticed the "(sic)." I couldn't stop laughing.

looks to me like they've already had a few pills too many.

though on the spelling of that particular magic word, i will say that LJ frustrates me by constantly trying to correct me for writing "ecstacy." the LJ dictionary apparently wants me to write "ecstasy," though my home dictionary assures me that both spellings are in fact acceptable.

hmph.

I'd be happier if it at least recognized one's own username as a valid word...

What dictionary? It's not in my trusty MW Collegiate, and the OED says it hasn't been in use since the Nineteenth Century (which is also about the time that the variant "extacy" fell into disuse).

um....

ok, i was wrong. i must have just fooled myself into thinking that i'd validated that misspelling somewhere...but my webster's indeed gives no credence to spelling it with a "c." i'm just in a really stubborn habit of doing so.

okay, i admit it: I'VE had a few pills too many!

(mmmm, this keyboard feels soOoOoOoo gooooood....)
