What I learned this weekend.

Friendpeople just happen. It's glaringly clear when they do. Likewise, it's clear when they don't.

Go with your instincts.
(N.B.: this is to say, I trust my instincts. Whether you should trust yours is for you to decide.)

Sometimes, the most productive thing to do is to stay the hell out of the way.

I like C.'s taste in people.
(Re-affirmed. I knew this before.)

Ask for things you need. Know what you need.

Ask for things you want. Ditto.

The less, and the more slowly, you eat at any one time (within reasonable limits), the better food tastes.

The technology we use to keep people connected is often key to our survival as human beings.

It takes little to connect to another. It takes both people to keep the connection rolling.
