veekWeird, why are my posts not showing up on people's friends pages any more?... This is a test, of sorts. Lemme know if it shows up on your friends page (but not all at once!).
Seattle-ite friend Ivan and I went to Newport yesterday, and - unexpectedly for me - swam in the ocean. It was cold, took me a while to get acclimated, but after that things were fine. We had found a little trail leading down to the shallow rocky shore off the cliff walk, so we were there alone, while everyone else was on the same bay's sandy beach.
I hadn't swum in the ocean in a few years. It's... I'm going back. This week. Lucky me that it's a good place to get a bit of work done, or work Just Wouldn't Happen.
