Boston-area favor

So, friends of my family have a 20-year-old flute-playing son, who has been invited to some festival at the NEC. He doesn't have any money for a hotel, and is looking for crash space. He'd arrive next Saturday and stay for a week, leaving early in the morning, coming back [at a reasonable hour, I assume] in the evening. He's Russian, lives in NYC, and is house-trained and generally well-behaved. He'd need reasonable access to public transport, as he doesn't have a car. Anyone? You'd have my eternal gratitude, as well as his. Respond to this, or mail me if you know the address.

i'll double check with my mom -- but we do have a guest room at "The Music Academy" -- if he doesn't mind the commute on the train 25 minutes gets him to Ruggles, which is pretty close to NEC and the 10-15 minute walk.

Oh, that would be brilliant. :) Let me know.

my mom said "of course -- we have a big house -- it's a pity to waste the space"

then her eyes lit up -- "floutist?" -- 'cause she recently wrote a flute melody to be played together with a Bach "Presto" :)

so, yes -- if he doesn't mind the commute (luckily he plays the flute and not the cello) -- the guest room would be at his full disposal, and he should find my house fairly practice-friendly :)

give him my cell number and/or e-mail address so we can discuss details

You and your mom are both great. Thank you. :)

I don't actually have his contact info, but I'll pass yours on to my mom, and she should give it to him in no time.
