observation

You know, there's a case in which it doesn't matter how you feel about a person, really doesn't matter. If you've got anything at all invested in someone emotionally, and they say they aren't in love with you, it twinges like a bitch. It doesn't hurt (or not in every case, or not all the time), but it twinges and plays with your brane and doesn't let go easily.

Someday I will write up the L word, and its different meanings for me.

ouch ouch ouch

Know what you mean. The subconscious is particuarly crap about discrete states.
Luck, anyhow.

Question: Do you feel the twinge in your brain or in your heart? I don't mean this figuratively. I know that I, personally, feel twinges like this in my chest.

I don't know why I am uncomfortable responding to that. I guess, because I never feel things with my brain specifically. Or with my heart specifically. They are felt with all of me. Sometimes, they are most obviously felt somewhere around my solar plexis.

Don't leave out the stomach. Think Charlie Brown. Poor guy's gonna have an ulcer someday, and so will I.
