Good site.
If you go there, click on "allway" and see how close to Transylvania I grew up. (In Moldova.)
Also: split pea soup is wonderful breakfast. Especially if breakfast isn't until 11am.
Reading The Continuum Concept, lent to me by C. It is about, essentially, touching your children by degrees more than we do it in Western societies: carrying them around on your back or hip until they can walk, letting them sleep with you at night, that sort of thing. My first reaction, when C. and I talked about it during her visit to me in London, was "cool!" -- my second was a default allergy I have to potentially too-ardent proponents of unorthodox methods, such as (I was afraid) the author of this book would be. I am relieved to find that Jean Liedloff is in fact not too ardent, not new-agey about it, but grounded and calm-seeming so far. It is an enjoyable read. Especially since, lately, I've been high on touch again, in a very concrete way.
