Through the past year or so, it has been my least favorite part of studying—not because I don't think it's interesting (see above), but because I know so little of it, and it is huge and daunting and.
Don't suppose anyone out there in LJ-land would want to get together every once in a while, live or over e-mail, and talk about stuff? I'm talking basics here. Auerbach, Bloom, and so on down the alphabet.
Addendum: For what it's worth, I think some of the lit crit I've read so far (not all, some) is a crock. But still interesting!
