Odd, the minute I decide that it'll be an all-nighter (as tonight must be), I suddenly get all relaxed and not in a hurry to get it done. I mean, I have all night! Right?

(A sensible person would get it done as soon as humanly possible and get at least a bit of sleep. Sensible? Ha.)

You know it's vacation time when I update this much.

Hours slept: 1 yesterday afternoon, 1 this morning.
Percentage of work completed, relative to work I intended to complete: 85.

I give myself a B. However, as always, the two major projects I have undertaken are a lot more work than I'd expected, so actually I am rather pleased with myself.

Wheels are churning, turning. TEI-compliant XML encoding of a major literary text is not nearly as scary as I'd thought, but will take a lot of time. Also, all the work I'm putting into building a syllabus for a course that doesn't exist yet... sheesh, they'd better approve it and let me teach it, or it'll be a sad, sad waste!
