So, friends of my family have a 20-year-old flute-playing son, who has been invited to some festival at the NEC. He doesn't have any money for a hotel, and is looking for crash space. He'd arrive next Saturday and stay for a week, leaving early in the morning, coming back [at a reasonable hour, I assume] in the evening. He's Russian, lives in NYC, and is house-trained and generally well-behaved. He'd need reasonable access to public transport, as he doesn't have a car. Anyone?
