I guess I'd say "chyx" and "chyk" is a piece of jargon used on the MUD, originated by Adam, that generally means "female". It's sort of dumb, but for whatever reason I don't see it as (*on the mud*) having a negative connotation, really a self-mocking one.

On the other hand, outside of the MUD it's quite offensive. And I really don't see what it has to do with poly.
